Porcelain Toilets Keep Everyone Going

Porcelain Toilets

Porcelain toilets are one of those things that everyone needs but nobody wants to talk about. More importantly, they want the toilet to always work because cleaning up the mess is no one’s idea of a good time. They just need to work-All the time.
Toilet technology has evolved over the years.  If you have a really small bathroom, a toilet back to wall system saves room by placing the water holding tank into the wall thereby maximizing space.

There are probably few things more aggravating than a toilet that will not “shut off”. Quality toilet fill valves are a must. One nice thing it that quality fill valves don’t cost very much.  High end valves run about $35.00 so they won’t break the bank.
An apartment complex can have really noisy plumbing but if you want  don’t want to be woke up at 3AM when “Nature calls” in the apartment above you, then a quiet flush toilet is the answer. The high tank on this type of toilet is what makes for a quiet flush and friendly neighbors.

Simple upgrades in a bathroom can really make a statement. A toilet flush handle in a unique design not only adds to the décor in the bathroom but adds some distinction to the lowly toilet. There are classic leaf designs and art deco designs to enhance the beauty of the bathroom.

There are a variety of bathroom toilets and sinks to fit every budget and décor. A visit to the Home Depot or to a Kohler or American Standard showroom  will reveal the latest technological advancements in the bathroom arena. Prices can range from $100 to $25000 depending if a gold leaf bidet or toilet is in your future.

A wall hanging toilet is another option for a commercial application or in a residential bathroom where space  is at a premium. With the water tank system installed in the wall saves a lot on space.  The key is to make sure there is an access panel just in case maintenance is needed.

The American Standard Champion 4 toilet is a dual flush design that saves water and is very important in cities or regions where water rationing is a fact of life. They range in price from $650 to around $300 if you can find one on sale.
Toilet flush ratings and flush toilet reviews can be research to decide whether dual flush toilet systems are a good investment for your area.

I wonder what it would cost to replace my toilets with those kind that hold very little water and are energy savers? I think those would be a wise investment to make.

Porcelain, wood, it doesn't really matter much to me. As long as I have got a toilet around, I'm happy. Of course with four daughters, it isn't always easy to find one available in my house.

I really wish that businesses would stick to paper towels in their restrooms. The hand dryers never really get my hands very dry except for the few high powered dryers out there, now those work great.

The automatic urinal flusher is most definitely a wonderful device to avoid as much contact with other peoples germs as possible. The only drawback is they sometimes want to flush when putting the sanitary cover on the toilet.

Many businesses today are adding family restrooms with changing tables which allows fathers to change the diapers of their babies or maybe escort their preschool daughter to the bathroom without having to take them to the mens room.

Getting a high quality porcelain toilet installed right the first time really saves on headaches later on down the road. I had to learn the hard way that getting a good buy doesn't necessarily mean you get a good deal.

Water volume is a big issue on some of the porcelain toilets. I have noticed that the watersaver options in some parts of the country are much more efficient than in others. This may be due to local ordinances.
